Having gained construction sector experience in the UK, USA, and UAE, including working with the Copenhagen Government to develop green city initiatives and other sustainability policies, Farah now oversees sustainability in Dubai for BuroHappold Engineering. She’s heavily involved in developing the practice’s sustainability strategy for building- and city-level urban planning, resource-efficient planning, the health and wellbeing agenda for smart cities, and liveability for Arab cities in the Middle East. Plus, she looks after UK and European projects in her capacity as technical specialist in building performance evaluation for passive and low energy.
